Average cost of telephone services for a small business?

I’m writing out a business plan for a small business I’m wanting to start. I want two land-line telephones capable of handling up to three separate lines at once. What would be the anticipated startup cost for this?

I would imagine it depends on your local company. Check to see if they have online set-up so you could walk through it up until check-out. I would also look in to cell phone companies to see if they offer a better price. Several companies (Sprint and Nextel at least) offer to start nights at 6pm.
Vongage is excellent. It is a land line but you can forward all your calls to your cell phone if you want. My basic service is only $24.00 per month. check their website to see if they have any business specials. Good Luck.
