Can anyone tell me how to start a small business in this little tiny town? What kind of business?
I am bored out of my mind. I work from 8-5 Monday thru Friday and when I get off work I want to do something extra with my life. I work paycheck to paycheck and can never afford a thing for me or my family. How can I start a small business and what would be a good little business for a small town that has all kinds of auto parts stores, mexican restaurants, taco stands, fast food restaurants and nothing else. We have a 3rd rate Wal Mart and that is about it. I have the worst credit it seems cause I can’t even borrow money on my life. Please help me and give me some ideas. Thank you.

Customers are global, your business is global, and when you do find the right business for you because you learned how to analyze a good business… Very little to invest and the only requirement is that you enjoy what you do!!!
The result? An extra few thousand a month and the option to get out of your tiny town and travel for free because you’ve earned not being bored.
Open up an eating place where Home Meals is cooked. You know what I mean. We all Americans are tired and sick of eating this junk from fast food restaurants. If you know cooking meals in home style like our mothers used to do. Trust me your eating place will spread like wild fire. But before you do better take some tips from your mother or grandmother. It helps a lot.

Those are great resources for starting small businesses, as well as business ideas. You will have to just really examine your community to see what it NEEDS. Try conversing with locals, people you know… kick around ideas, see if anything comes about. Try to find something with very low start up cost.
Try working on your credit the best that you can. Pay off your debts, and try to re-establish your credit. No one will give you a loan unless you can prove that you will do well with that money. Having bad credit reflects poorly on your money handling. It’s not the end of the world though. Try saving a small set amount from each pay check and putting it into a savings account that you DO NOT touch. Even if it’s $10.
Good luck!
If you live in a small town dominated by major discount retailers and family owned cafes, it may not be a good idea to go into a brick and mortar business. You can overcome the demographic barriers by operating an online business that accesses the entire world. Think about it. You can sell gifts to a market of 2,000 or so people, or sell the same things to a market of billions.
To do this you need to start an online business, either by selling products on ebay or other auction sites, or by starting your own website. The entire process is easier and less expensive than you may believe. Read Internet Riches by Scott Fox. Thanks.
This is a tough one because you have the desire to do something and would likely succeed but start up costs are a little hard.
Try your hand at some network marketing. You are your own boss and can be the “first” to possibly bring it to the area -
if you have some success and other people build on your team you may have enough $ aside to open something you truly always wanted – (or the town needs).
Good Luck.
Write to me and tell me which country are you living?
What is your strength? Do you mind to do sales by phone? Internet? or traditional type?
I have few options.
Hope I can help you!

Hey, I hope that this will help you out. I promise…this company is not a scam. I work for myself and from home. I do not sell, stock, pick-up or deliver anything. There is no paperwork, no record keeping, and no overhead. All I do is set up wholesale accounts for a catalog company. This is a SOLID 20 year old, INC 500 company, with NO large investments, and NO RISK. And if you are not satisfied, you get ALL your money back within 90 days. This company is set apart from ALL other companies. In two short years my mom, who is a stay at home mom, is making very reliable, residual income. This is not a MLM, or I would not be involved in this myself. If you want more info, e-mail me enhancinglivesdaily@yahoo.com
I actually found my niche with The Body Shop At Home 2 1/2 years ago. It is tons of fun and great money. I actually go into woman’s homes to pamper them. Tell me what woman you know that doesn’t like to be pampered?!? I don’t think that there is one alive that hates being pampered. That is why I never run out of business! We offer a wide array of products from hair care, face care, make-up, body care, lotions, foot care. Feel free to check me out at:

Let me know if after looking at the products and the information on the website if there is anything I can further assist you with! The start up is very low and I can even help you to get started with no money up front.
Remember the key is to love what you do so that you never feel like you are actually working!
Good Luck with your search! ;0)
