Has anybody found an honest, home base, Internet business ?

I’ve been searching the Internet for a home base internet business for a while now, I’m shocked and sadden by how much scamming is going on — It’s really scary, why do people have to lie, cheat and steal to make money. I want to know if anybody has had a positive experience with home base Internet business and not something you signed up yesterday, rather something you’ve making $$$ for a while now. i know about ebay- it is great. thank you

all scams, sorry buddy. Seems that the only legit home-based business is SELLINg home-based businesses to people who need to make extra money. None of the programs work, and almost all of them require you to have an idea, advertise, and manage your business….a lot like starting a real business by yourself.
I have been making extra money online for over 2 years with Affiliate Marketing. This is where companies will pay you a commission if you refer people to their site. For example, eBay and Amazon have affiliate programs (although their commissions are small) you can also make commissions on everything from cell phones, to eBooks, to Diet and food delivery services, to credit cards. There is an affiliate program for almost everything.
I sell All Natural Trans-fat Free Foods from Home . I only leave the house when I want to , and in New England ( Ma ) its only on days that are warm and its nice to get outside for a few hours , after all you do need to spread the word about this tasty food. But I still do 75 % majority just emailing friends and family , ads on Craigslist ( free) tons of yahoo sites. Small investment of $135 , but that includes shipping and over $400 worth of consumable Dips , Sauces , Breads , Desserts, Soups , Cooking Oils and Gifts Sets. PLUS all you need to sell it. I don’t carry much inventory , I share the samples and ppl buy from the catalog. It gets shipped to my home and they pick it up. Im making a minimum of $400 a week profit and have no complaints about food or service. I cant believe I found this company when I did. A company friend just got a $22,000 bonus check this year , first one in the whole company , I was so happy for her , hope I can do that this coming 2009.
There are many online businesses, some are scams but some are legitimate. You will just have to look into opportunities well. Looking for online job is just like applying for a land-based job.
If the company you are applying for is requiring you to pay for forms, pay to get interview schedule, then this is not a legitimate company you should enter.
In the same token, an online website requiring you to pay for forms, kits or whatever else, do away with them.
If you have an experience in a landbased employment, you can bring this business online. It works like opening up your own company, but extremely cheaper. You can set up your online business with minimal or no capital. Just look around for some useful tips and you will get the hang of it.
The key is never to give up, always think that there is no overnight success in anything inluding online businesses.
As for me, I write SEO articles online. I have three regular clients, I meet them in a freelancers website. I am already working with them for about 4 years, but I tell you, my first year earning was a meager $74.
I created my own website, published articles but I still get my bread and butter from these three consistent SEO clients of mine. My 2008 earning from them already reached $4,000 as of November.
It may not be too big if you are looking to be rich but for an additional income, this is already good for me.

It is terrible how many scams there are online. But there are some great business that you can do online. For instance, you can become a Virtual Assistant. A Virtual Assistant is an independent entrepreneur who provides a variety of services, virtually (via Internet, email, fax, and phone), to businesses that are in need of support.
If you have at least 5 years experience in the administrative field or other specialty service you may want to consider becoming a VA.
I did just start my own business but I do know of many people who are doing well with their own VA business.

While there are alot of scams out there, there are alot of great business opportunities out there as well. I learned this through trial and error. I guess that’s life.
If you are willing to work, you will succeed. The company I work for is especially great for work at home mommies, student, entrepreneurs, among others. Solely because of the flexibility and because once you are setup you can make money without doing a thing. Your hard work will pay off for itself. This is why I find this company so special.
I a few good hours of hard work and now I am reaping the rewards as I work on other work from home projects. Of course this is just one way of making money. Many other doors will open afterward. I think it’s a good place to start.
allot of those internet business are scams.i have been scammed a couple of time myself in fact am still going at it with a company that continue to take money out of my account even after i cancel with them.
what i found to be honest though and legit is this company call mia bella that i have been with now since late october and have actually make money. Am not saying your going to get rich but you can make an income.
they are a company that sell gourmet candles its not completely an internet base business but its legit.
