Is anyone out there involved in a legitimate internet home-based business?

I’ve been Googling and searching, but now I am gun-shy because everything I’ve found looks like a scam.
I need to supplement my income since the economy has hit my small retail business.
Any help would be appreciated – especially if you have had some experience yourself.

Yes there are legit home based businesses. But you got to get it out of your mind that they are easy to start. To be successful in a home based Business you have to work hard and be very persistent.
We started a home based business about 3 months ago as an independent distributor of Mona-Vie. This is no get rich quick company. Between me and my wife we have put in about 14 hours a week since we started and we now take in @ $250/wk. But that’s growing. our goal is to make enough money were my wife can quit her waitress job and just focus on our Mona-Vie business within the next 6months.
Mona-Vie has a combination of 19 fruits and berries with the acai berry from the Amazon as its star. The results people are getting from drinking this are nearly miraculous, unique to each individuals health complaints and life changing. My own 59 year old father has had sleeping problems for over 20 years and started taking monavie pulse about 3 months ago and my mother is now stating the he is sleeping much better.

I agree that times are difficult and there are a lot of scams out there taking advantage of people in there time of need.
There are a lot of legit business out there but most want your money to promote there products,money that most people just do not have.

I started a home businees back in August with a company out of Idaho called Melaleuca. It is similar to a catalog company, people can order through a catalog online or over the phone using an 800 number. This is a legitimate business and Melaleuca was listed as the top 5 companies in Idaho, very reputable company and in the better business bureau. If you would like more info email me privately.

There are a lot of good business opportunities. If you truly want to be a business owner and learn the skills that it takes to be a business owner then you seriously need to check out network marketing. It is “The Perfect Business” according to Robert Kiyosaki. I have started multiple businesses and bought businesses also. I have never had a J.O.B. in my life and I am 28 years old. This is the best and lowest cost way to get into a business for yourself. One of the biggest advantages to this type of business is the type of people that you get to associate with. Have you heard the saying “Birds of feather flock together”? Well it is so true. And with network marketing you will have the opportunity to hang out with other successful and like minded people.
Not only can you learn a lot by joining a network marketing company, you can also make a really good income. And it’s passive income which makes it even better. The cool thing about it is that it is really up to you on how much you want to make. If you only need a couple hundred bucks a month then you can do that. If you want to make ten thousand a month, you can do that. If you want to make a hundred thousand a MONTH, you can do that. It is up to you.
So as a business owner and investor I believe that network marketing is the best and lowest cost way to get into business for yourself. Notice I said for yourself not by yourself. You will have a team that will mentor and train you on the skills that you will need to know to be successful.
I recommend the home business because it’s my business to run as I want to. My income depends on my effort. As I put forth the effort, my income increases accordingly. No effort no income.
