Do a very specific Google AdWords campaign – they work fantastically.
marketing is what you should be thinking about, not advertising. The other thing I always recoomend is reading/researching sales. Zig Zigglar and many other fine sales professionals have written books and they are normally at your public library.
Hi Queenie,
In order to grow your business, you should establish your presence on the web by creating a website. Office Live Small Business is the perfect solution for those who are new to website building because it is template-based, which means you don’t have to learn any code. You can even set up an e-mail address for your business through the service. Also, Office Live Small Business is ad free, unlike most free website building services.
Good luck with the lawn care business!

Start with any existing customers, see if they can give you any referrals. Create flyers that you can ask friends and family to hand out to their friends and family. Make the most of free advertising available on the web.
As a small business operator myself I often recommend gohuman, com. It is usually very good if you want to target a market in a particular zip code area because you can link your listing both to a category and a zip code. So your post gets targeted at the particular area you want it to be seen. I also suggest that you get your existing current customers and friends to post an endorsement on the site to make potential customers a bit more comfortable with you because they will see you have a good reputation.
