i am doing a project for a class and i need help with coming up with advertising ideas. here are some examples that i am looking for….flyers placed on car windshields and door hangers advertising the business? can anyone think of any more ideas like these that would be for advertising for a small business. these things would be print ideas, no internet things, thats another part of the project that i have to do that i havent done yet. also if anyone has any creative advertising things that they have done in the past….thanks!

I am starting a computer repair/media digitization business from my home. I am trying to think of ways to advertise this business. My ideas so far are putting an ad in my Church’s yellow pages, seeing if I can distribute flyers at my local mall, Craig’s list, Google Adwords, Ebay Classified Ads, and just word of mouth. Does anyone know of any other affordable good ideas for advertising my small business? I also have a website detailing my services.

I want to see if there’s any data / published report(s) that research the advertising spending habits of small businesses in the US, or any specific cities. Best reports will probably break down business types and track their spending across different advertising medium (e.g. web, email, direct mailing, etc.)

Behind every disappointing small business advertisement there is at least one reason for its failure. The good news is that any flaw with your advertising can be corrected, if you are willing to try new ideas.
